PHDA SWOP Majengo has reached a major milestone with the successful completion of the Aspirin Study, marking the final collection of client samples after three years of rigorous research. This study aimed to explore the potential role of aspirin in improving health outcomes, and its success is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and commitment of both the research team and study participants.
To celebrate this achievement and gather community perspectives, PHDA hosted an Aspirin Study Baraza a research findings dissemination meeting, providing a platform for open dialogue on the study’s impact and key learnings. The event underscored the importance of community involvement in
research, ensuring that findings are not only scientifically valuable but also relevant and beneficial to the people they aim to serve. The Baraza was honored by the presence of a delegation from the University of Manitoba, reaffirming the commitment to collaborative, community-driven research. Their engagement highlights the significance of international partnerships in advancing global health and HIV prevention efforts.
