The University of Nairobi Collaborative HIV/STI/SRH Research Group successfully held its Annual Review Meeting from 26th to 30th January 2026 at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi. The meeting brought together researchers, students, government institutions, donors, and key stakeholders for in-depth
discussions on emerging evidence, programmatic innovations, and future directions in HIV, STI, and SRH research.
Participants engaged in plenary sessions, technical presentations, and collaborative discussions aimed at strengthening research-to-policy translation. The meeting also provided a platform for early-career researchers and students to showcase their work, fostering mentorship and knowledge exchange across institutions. Overall, the forum reinforced collaboration as a cornerstone for advancing evidence-based responses to HIV, STI, and SRH challenges in Kenya and the region.
